To be totally fair, Sunday and Monday were rough days! I intended to get a good workout in and follow my meal plan, but I definitely didn’t. On the plus side, I tracked it all. Even though it wasn’t pretty, I tracked and moved on. Thankfully, it ended up not being nearly as bad as I thought it would be. I fully intend to make up those negatives this week with Fitpoints! I’m a little nervous about advancing on C25K because I am by no means a natural runner, but I’ll get better with practice!
On Tuesday I actually slept in which is pretty rare for me. After I got ready for the day I had a simple breakfast of cheerios, a banana, grapes, and two mugs of green tea with lemon. I swear by green tea when it comes to weight loss. Drink a little everyday. It works wonders!
After breakfast I spent some time working on homework and then spent the rest of my morning and afternoon writing. I’m working on my next novel and it’s going really well. You can check out my first one here!
To be honest, there is not much to report for the rest of the week! I spent them all at work and it was just a blur.
Saturday was super relaxing! I got up early and made a quick trip into Meijer where I had to convince myself to stay away from the adult coloring books. They had the coolest selection! Because of my pitstop I was about ten minutes late to my WW meeting, but I got an awesome surprise when I got there! I was only 0.2 away from a 50 pound lost and as of today, I have reached 51.3!
After my meeting I stopped into a GNC and grabbed a few Quest bars to get me through the week until I can load up. They’re expensive, but so worth it!
After my running around, I headed over to Shakeer’s house to spend the day with him. On my way there I obviously had a Quest bar for breakfast! We spent most of our morning watching movies and went for a walk in the afternoon. We didn’t go for a really long walk like we’ve been doing lately because it was just too hot outside, but it was pretty nice in the shade.
Obviously today is Father’s Day so I’m spending the day at home. Breakfast consisted of croissants, donuts, and a smorgasbord of other items, but I’m sticking to my points, so instead of eating a 15 point donut (yes, it really is 15 points!) I had a 4 point bowl of cereal with 2 slices of bacon, and a mug of green tea with lemon.
Today is a tough day for my points. We’re having a huge dinner, plus dessert. Even with small portions I know I’ll go into my weeklies. There’s a chance I’ll use them all. But that’s what I love about WW. This one point -filled day won’t ruin my progress. It encourages me to watch my portions, and I can still indulge in a yummy dinner and dessert with my family. I’m not missing out on these things like I would with a diet. I am finally, officially back on track. I knew there was light at the end of the dark tunnel I was in!
