In my Health & Happiness: 21 Days of Habits post I talked about how I owe my weight loss to habits that have led to a healthier lifestyle and I think a huge part of that is setting goals for yourself. Not huge goals like I need to lose 100 pounds in six months or I have to cut all processed sugar cold turkey. Goals should be small and reasonable. One step at a time. Since it’s the beginning of the month I figured I should continue with my habits and add a couple more goals.
No Pop: I’ve had pop twice since my 21 Days of Habits post but that’s definitely an improvement from where I was before and both times, it didn’t taste nearly as good as it used to. I’m really happy that I’ve cut it from my diet.
Tracking: My tracking hasn’t been top-notch, but it has gotten better and I can really tell a difference when I do.
Fitness: I really want to workout more often. I want to improve my fitness. One of my biggest goals for July is to workout everyday with strength training and cardio. I want to complete 300 squats, push-ups, and crunches throughout the month. And as for my cardio, it doesn’t have to be a full-blown run everyday. I really just want to start by focusing on getting out there and moving right now. Even a long walk in the evening is a step up!
Yoga: I want to complete yoga five times this month.
Meal Prep: I really want to get into the habit of meal prepping so on Thursday I had some extra time to run to the grocery store and I did a huge grocery shop with fruits and veggies, loads of protein, and whole grains. You can check it out here!
