I’ve been struggling to get in the Christmas spirit again this year so what better way to get in the spirit than to make some Christmas cookies! A healthier version, of course.
1 cup whole wheat flower
3/4 cup oats
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 cup unsweetened applesauce
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 cup softened coconut oil
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 cup holiday m&ms
Preheat the oven to 350.
Pour all of the ingredients together while continuing to mix after each ingredient is added.
Put spoonfuls of the mixture onto a cookie sheet and bake them for 15-20 minutes.
